Community Guidelines

Treat people the way you would in a room with them. Disagree all you like; do not harass, threaten, bully, dox or stalk anyone, and do not target people for who they are.

• Anything sexual involving minors, or that puts a child at risk. We report it.
• Sexual content involving real people without their consent.
• Threats or encouragement of violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
• Hate: attacking people for their race, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or similar.
• Scams, malware, phishing, spam, and selling things that are illegal.
• Breaking into accounts or servers, or helping others to.

Server owners and moderators set the tone of their own rooms and can remove people who do not fit. Their rules sit on top of these, never below them.

Do not try to get Blinki to make things that break these guidelines. Requests for sexual content involving minors, explicit content, gore or hate are refused and logged, and staff look at accounts that keep trying.

Report anything from the message or profile menu in the app, or write to [email protected]. Our staff review reports, and depending on what happened we remove content, warn, restrict or close accounts, and ban people from the service. Serious cases go to the police. Decisions can be appealed by replying to the notice you receive.
